Description

• Provide a Noise Operations Monitoring System (NOMS) and Flight Identification and Tracking System.
• Enhance the ability of airports to identify and track aircraft, correlate data with aircraft noise, conduct compliance analysis, and investigate complaints.
• Enable monitoring of aircraft noise through permanent noise monitors.
• Perform maintenance on existing noise monitors, offer user downloading capabilities, user aircraft reporting, and access community and total noise data from the NOMS.
• Deliver real-time animated, graphical displays of sound levels at selected monitors, as well as generate automated reports.
• Provide Flight ID and Tracking capabilities, ensuring reliable, accurate flight identification and tracking data.
• Ensure System Portability, enabling NOMS access from any internet-connected PC, mobile device, or tablet with proper login credentials.
• Facilitate Public Outreach:
• Enable real-time flight track viewing, including weather data and noise monitor data.
• Display points of closest approach and log noise complaints.
• Provide an Interactive Public Website with:
• Voluntary noise program details.
• Flight track display information accessible to the public with limited access.
